" From childhood's hour I have not been as others were -- I have not seen as others saw -- I could not bring my passions from a common spring"
- Edgar Allan Poe "Alone"

Well, perhaps some of my passions do come from a common spring such as my passion and love for Jesus Christ; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. If that didn't tip you off then this will tell you for sure, I am a child of God. This is the most important fact about me, about my life. I live for God and rejoice in doing so. I try to learn from every good and bad experience in my life, and depend upon God in all things, but especially the times when I feel overwhelmed or hurt. I seek God every day and follow Christ's example, but I am human, which means I err. So what do I do? I pick up the pieces, learn and continue on. Love with all your heart, give with all you have to give, forgive when asked and even when you are not. Live with compassion.

Christianity is not a matter of religion or how religious a person is. It is, however, a matter of having a personal relationship with Christ, who died for our sins.

I live with my head in the clouds and my feet on the ground. Basically, I'm a Renaissance woman. I have many interests and hobbies. I love to read, travel, be creative. I absolutely love CareBears and hockey! Thank God the NHL is back! My friends and family are very important to me. Time with friends is a blessing, as they are blessings in my life.
I'm extroverted, intelligent, very thoughtful, a people person, creative/imaginative, caring. I enjoy all kinds of activities; walking, biking, canoeing, etc. I love to laugh! I enjoy good movies, good books, time well spent, I like spontaneity, surprises, spontaneous expressions of affection. I enjoy going to church regularly and being involved with Ambassadors for Christ, FCA and Phi Theta Kappa - Rho Tau Chapter.
I'm sentimental and romantic and I do believe a guy should do the asking and be a gentleman, court a girl and make the moves, not too forward of course but proper. Call me old fashioned, oh well. I look at it like this, if the guy's not willing to make the move, then why should the girl? Is it really worth her time then? ~_^ Everyone's got an opinion, including me. Understand that though I say this, I have made the moves in the past. I want that to change. Patience is a virtue.

"Life without meaning cannot be borne. We find a mission to which we're sworn -or answer the call of Death's dark horn. Without a gleaning of purpose in life, we have no vision, we live in strife, -or let blood fall on a suicide knife." - The Book of Counted Sorrows
God has a purpose for you that's why you're here. There is meaning to our lives. You're not an accident, you're not unwanted. You have something to offer that only you have to offer. By missing out on Jesus you're missing out on true life and freedom, cheating yourself and everyone around you. If you struggle with "why am I here?", despair, etc., then give Jesus a try. It can't hurt to embrace Something good and Someone who loves you so much He died for you so you could live through Him eternally....

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
